Position Overview:

  • Oversee insurance litigation cases of varying complexities from inception to resolution.
  • Prepare legal documents, opinions, and pleadings for applications, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Independently manage applications, discoveries, mediations, and trials.
  • Facilitate legal training sessions for the claims department and support colleagues across different divisions.
  • Ensure effective communication with the claims department and adjusters.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Active member in good standing with the Law Society.
  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance litigation.
  • Skilled in legal research, writing, and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
