About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at POINT MARK CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, handling heavy loads, and working at heights. You must be physically fit and able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
