Cogen Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cogen Superintendent to join our team at Tolko Industries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fire systems, process safety equipment, and steam and power generation assets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of power engineers and other skilled tradespeople to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with environmental, WorksafeBC, TSBC, and insurance standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to employees to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.
- Ensure established daily production levels are achieved within safety, budget, and quality goals.
- 2nd Class Power Engineer Certification.
- Proven track record of leading a team of power engineers or other skilled tradespeople.
- Extensive experience working with steam and power combustion generation.
- Commitment to working safely.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of boiler and pressure vessel codes and regulations.
