U-Haul is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storage Facility Housekeeper to join our team. As a Storage Facility Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our storage facilities, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough cleaning and maintenance of storage units, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed to ensure a well-stocked and efficient cleaning operation.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
