Job Title: Asset Technical Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to join our team at Answers Recruitment UK. As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction for our studio and leading the development of our games.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement technical strategies to drive innovation and excellence in game development
  2. Lead a team of programmers and engineers to design, develop, and test game technology
  3. Collaborate with designers, artists, and other stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and quality of game features
  4. Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure timely delivery of projects
  5. Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. At least 5 years of leadership experience in the games industry
  2. At least 7 years of programming experience
  3. Experience with console development and Unity/Unreal Engine
  4. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  5. Excellent management and communication skills
