Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Security Officer to join our team. As a Mobile Security Officer, you will be responsible for responding effectively to alarm responses and client calls, patrolling scheduled sites, and completing site and officer inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alarm Response and Client Calls
    • Respond promptly and effectively to alarm responses and client calls, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
  • Site Patrols
    • Conduct regular patrols of scheduled sites, monitoring for any potential security threats or incidents.
  • Site and Officer Inspections
    • Conduct regular inspections of sites and officers to ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • Security License
    • Valid Ontario Security License is required.
  • Driver's License
    • Possess a valid Ontario driver's license (G Class).
  • Insurance Requirements
    • Must meet our insurance company requirements (25+ years of age).
  • Driver Abstract
    • Must provide a current driver abstract.
  • Insurance Approval
    • Must be approved on our insurance.
  • Vaccination Requirements
    • Must be fully vaccinated (Covid-19 policy in effect).
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of experience in a related position is required.
  • Education
    • Post-secondary diploma or certification in a related field (e.g. law-enforcement) is preferred.
  • Skills
    • Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
    • Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.
    • High level of personal integrity.
    • Strong work ethic.
    • Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.
    • Confident, consistent decisive personality.
    • Ability to work with little supervision; self-directed.

Shifts

  • Night Shifts
    • 7:30pm-7:30am.
  • Continental Shifts
    • Monday to Friday, 7:30pm-7:30am.
