Job Description

Canpro Consulting Inc. is seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Database Development: Develop and implement a strategic blueprint to follow when deploying databases within our organization.
  • Database Maintenance: Develop and maintain computer databases, ensuring they are secure and accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Documentation: Document customers' requirements for projects and document reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals.
  • Security: Enact measures to ensure unauthorized users cannot access the data.
  • Liaison: Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability.
  • Advice: Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools.
  • Infrastructure Setup: Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases.
  • User Requirements: Collect and document user's requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
