We are seeking a skilled Industrial Instruments Technician to join our team at Mid North Automation Inc. as a key member of our instrumentation and control team.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Maintain Instrumentation Systems: Ensure the optimal performance of our industrial instrumentation systems, including pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic sequential control systems.
- Repair and Calibrate Instrumentation Components: Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation components, including temperature, pressure, flow, and level instruments, as well as speed measurement indicators and density, weight, or viscosity instruments.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on our instrumentation systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems into our overall automation infrastructure.
- Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification: Possess a valid Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification.
- Red Seal Certification: Hold a Red Seal Certification in Instrumentation and Control Technicians.
- Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ability to distinguish between colours and excellent hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
