Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance on design and implementation of new software applications.
- Collaborate with senior management, product managers, and developers to ensure that new and existing software applications meet business objectives.
- Supervise and delegate duties to the development team, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and implement software development standards and best practices.
- Track project progress metrics and achieve project release delivery goals.
- Identify technical and schedule risks and provide timely recommendations to management.
- Deliver reports and proposals to upper management, including progress reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Develop and manage budgets and timelines for software development projects.
- Ensure knowledge transfer across the team to avoid singular resource risks.
- Work with senior management to develop and maintain metrics for team and individual team member performance.
- Perform continuous improvement of the development process through application of meaningful OKRs.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
- Professional software development experience, including management experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
