About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare meals for residents, including special dietary needs and therapeutic menu modifications.
  • Assist with food preparation for special events and functions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to legislative and organizational standards.
  • Follow established waste management guidelines for organics, paper, plastics, and other materials.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a high-school diploma or equivalent, a valid Food Handler's certificate, and at least one year of cooking experience. You must be able to read and follow recipes, communicate effectively in a team environment, and provide a clear criminal record check.
