Financial Management Officer

**Job Summary**

Unicell Janitorial Supplies is seeking a skilled Financial Management Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, and providing financial guidance to our staff.

**Responsibilities**

* Direct trust account investments to optimize returns and minimize risk
* Identify clients' financial goals and objectives to develop tailored financial plans
* Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to ensure financial stability and growth
* Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to streamline financial processes
* Arrange training for staff to enhance their financial knowledge and skills
* Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies to inform business decisions
* Develop financial plans for clients to achieve their financial objectives
* Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure financial compliance
* Examine accounting records to detect and prevent financial irregularities
* Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
* Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payment of staff

**Requirements**

* Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
* Work Term: Permanent
* Work Language: English
* Hours: 40 hours per week
