  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Arrange training for staff to enhance their financial knowledge and skills.
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop financial plans for clients to achieve their financial objectives.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices to enhance financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure financial integrity.
  • Examine accounting records to identify areas for improvement.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in financial planning and management.
