About the Role:
The Account Representative will be responsible for implementing sales and service strategies for our restaurant, grocery, and industrial accounts within the assigned territory. This includes developing and executing sales plans, growing our customer database, and collaborating with key accounts managers on national partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Grow our customer database through identification of new prospects and adaptation of consultative approaches.
- Collaborate with key accounts managers on national partnerships to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with restaurant and grocery store owners to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Review our current offer with customers to maximize sales and customer satisfaction and improve renewal on an ongoing basis.
- Take responsibility for the margin and volume of business for assigned territory.
- Create innovative customer service initiatives to increase customer satisfaction.
- Follow-up with customers or our customer service team on phones, service request emails, and other to provide support.
- Travel to meet customer facilities to enhance understanding of their business needs.
Requirements:
- University/College diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in sales, new business, and market development.
- Sales experience in the Food-Industry, restaurant, and grocery store an asset.
- Proven track record in business development and successful innovation.
- Valid Ontario driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong Business and financial acumen.
- Excellent time management & organizational skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resourceful, able to work independently and think outside the box.
This position requires frequent travel to customer offices and facilities. You should expect to be available for travel 80% of the time.
