Position Overview

The role of the Restaurant Manager at Tut's Egyptian Street Food involves overseeing the daily operations of our vibrant culinary establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Define the range of services offered and implement effective operational procedures.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage cash flow and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance assessments of staff to ensure high standards.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain stock levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the establishment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Engage with suppliers to secure favorable terms for food and other necessary supplies.
  • Client Relations: Negotiate catering arrangements and facility usage with clients.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and instruct team members to foster a productive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
