Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Oncology Team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of anti-cancer treatments to cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare chemotherapy and immunotherapy medications with precision and accuracy
  • Perform Best Possible Medication lists to ensure patient safety
  • Manage inventory and supplies to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Collaborate with the Oncology Team to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements
  • Licensed by OCP and educated from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
  • Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technician membership
  • Completion of GCP certification and Division 5 within 3 months of hire
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical arithmetic, and pharmaceutical terminology
  • Experience in hospital Pharmacy and handling hazardous drugs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
