Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at High Mountain Brewing. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and stored properly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Restock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas with supplies.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Set tables, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Handle and store cleaning products.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment:

As a Kitchen Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Dependability and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
