About the Role
BrandSafway is seeking a skilled Designer I to join our team. As a Designer I, you will play a crucial role in preparing simple shoring and forming application drawings using AutoCAD software.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed application drawings using Aluma Systems' products, including simple fabrication drawings for products.
- Conduct material take-offs from information shown on application drawings, as required.
- Visit construction project sites to assist the sales force, as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma in engineering technician/technologist or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of working experience in producing drawings for forming, shoring, and scaffolding or related design.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English to convey facts and information clearly.
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts, such as plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry.
- Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD, basic engineering software, and MS Office.
- Commitment to professional career development and teamwork.
