Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Ziggy Peelgoods. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, preparing and serving food, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Prepare and cook simple food items, such as vegetables and fruits
  • Wash, peel, and cut ingredients for cooking
  • Keep records of food quantities and inventory
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
