Geriatrician or General Internist

About the Role

The Department of Medicine and the Division of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Ottawa and the Ottawa Hospital are seeking a Geriatrician or General Internist to fill a one-year full-time locum appointment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical services in an acute care inpatient Geriatric Medicine Unit and consultation teams at the General and Civic campuses.
  • Teach and supervise medical students and residents.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to be licensed to practice medicine in Ontario.
  • Membership in or eligibility for the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
  • Certification in General Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
