Senior Manager, Credit Risk Modeling Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Credit Risk Modeling team at BMO. As a key member of our Data Analytics & Reporting group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced credit risk analysis and risk rating systems to support our Canadian Personal & Business Banking portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain credit risk models for our business banking portfolios, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in risk assessment and management.
- Provide advanced analytical expertise to support the development, validation, and monitoring of credit risk models and strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement solutions to minimize their impact.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and ensure our credit risk management practices align with best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts and risk managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication of credit risk management strategies.
- Advanced degree in a related field, such as mathematics, statistics, or finance.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on modeling and analytics.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective credit risk management strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Experience working with machine learning and data visualization tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
