Senior Manager, Credit Risk Modeling Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Credit Risk Modeling team. As a key member of our Data Analytics & Reporting group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced credit risk analysis and risk rating systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain credit risk models for Canadian Personal & Business Banking portfolios
- Provide advanced analytical expertise to manage the development, validation, monitoring, reporting, and documentation of origination, portfolio risk management, and collection models and strategies
- Lead project management and coaching and mentoring initiatives
- Apply mathematical and statistical methods to financial and risk management problems, including internal controls, enterprise-wide stress testing, and scenario analysis
- Intermediate level of proficiency in regulatory capital and stress testing, compliance and regulation, machine learning, learning agility, and systems thinking
- Advanced level of proficiency in model risk management, data visualization, data wrangling, data preprocessing, critical thinking, driving results, quantitative financial modeling, computational thinking and programming, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, collaboration and team skills, and data-driven decision making
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
