Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process daily shipments and transfers, reconciling deliveries to invoices and entering data into our computerized system.
  • Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies, resolving any shipping issues and routing incoming goods to the appropriate areas.
  • Assemble equipment for display and manage the process for returning goods, cores, and shipping containers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Ability to work to deadlines, remain calm and positive in all situations.
  • Ability to learn how to drive a forklift.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • No more than 1-2 years of experience in a busy distribution center, pick/pack/ship depot.
  • Familiarity with shipping procedures, including pick to order, package, stage, create shipping documents for courier, mail or transport, load, execute in computer system, track shipment.
  • Familiarity with receiving procedures, including check to BOL, note over/short/damage, receive into system, unpack, inspect and put away accurately.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract required.
