Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

THE PIZZA SPOT is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Take customers' orders
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Work Environment:

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with overtime required. You must be able to stand for extended periods and have attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Positive attitude and client focus
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Work Term and Language:

Permanent position with 35 to 40 hours per week. English is the primary language of communication.
