Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education worker to join our team at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Westshore. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that foster creativity, imagination, and learning, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local attractions.
  • Child Support: Encourage children to express themselves through various art forms, music, and physical activities, while also guiding them in developing essential life skills such as eating, dressing, and toileting.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identifying potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare comprehensive reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers, ensuring a cohesive and supportive environment for children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and immunization records
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
