We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Grocery Clerk to join our team at 6TH AVE FOOD MARKET LTD.
Job Summary:The Grocery Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products.
- Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise, rotate stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
- Operational Tasks: Process transactions, operate a cash register, and perform other tasks as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, and walking.
