About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Habetz Network of Northwestern Mutual. As a key member of our internal audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans to assess the risk and control environment of our organization;
  • Conduct thorough audits of business processes and operations to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhanced risk management and control;
  • Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to implement audit findings and recommendations;
  • Lead and mentor junior audit staff to develop their skills and expertise;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in internal audit and risk management.
Requirements
  • CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) designation;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively;
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with senior management and other stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
