Position Overview
:The Recreation Activities Coordinator is a vibrant, imaginative, and sociable individual dedicated to delivering outstanding service to guests of all ages through a diverse range of activities. The ideal candidate will be warm, engaging, and empowering, with a readiness to adapt to the evolving needs of our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and oversee activities that engage families and guests of various age groups.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational capabilities to plan, arrange, and lead age-appropriate activities and games that keep children entertained and involved throughout the day.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Be attentive to guests' needs and concerns, proactively offering solutions or suggestions to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage guest issues or complaints confidently and without assistance.
- Facilitate engaging activities for guests, including but not limited to campfires, movie nights, and seasonal celebrations.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children participating in day camps.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest activity areas, including the kids' center, campfire sites, and waterpark.
- Fill in as a Pool Attendant, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a clean and inviting environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a resort setting.
- Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
- A passion for creating exceptional experiences for guests.
- Possession of an Alberta Pro Serve Certificate is preferred.
- Comfortable working outdoors in a range of temperatures from -30 to +35 degrees Celsius.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and levels of authority.
