Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Clinical Assistant to join our team at V Weinstock Medicine Corporation. This role is essential in providing support to our ophthalmology professionals and ensuring a smooth operation within our clinical environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months in a related field.
Work Environment

The position is based in a fast-paced clinical setting, which may include:

  • Health care professional offices
  • Ophthalmic or optical laboratories
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Administering prescribed eye medications and treatments as directed by ophthalmologists.
  • Assisting healthcare professionals in various tasks.
  • Operating and maintaining ophthalmic testing and measuring equipment.
  • Documenting test results and treatments provided.
  • Setting up and dismantling necessary equipment.
  • Cleaning and ensuring the proper maintenance of clinical tools.
  • Managing inventory and supplies efficiently.
  • Performing general clerical duties, including patient reception and appointment scheduling.
  • Gathering and recording patients' medical and ophthalmic histories.
