About the Role
As an Automotive Service Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily functions of our service department. Your leadership will be pivotal in hiring, training, and inspiring a team dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
- Cultivate a workplace culture that prioritizes exceptional service through effective training and talent management.
- Evaluate and enhance service center policies to elevate customer experiences.
- Formulate and execute strategies to attract and retain a loyal customer base.
- Guide team members in providing superior customer service.
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a skilled automotive service team to achieve sales and profitability goals.
- Enhance service center sales and profitability.
- Address and resolve customer and employee concerns effectively.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and workplace policies.
- Monitor the budget by tracking sales and expenditures.
- Promote safety and security protocols within the service environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 5 years of experience in the automotive service sector.
- A minimum of 3 years in a management role within the automotive industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and meet deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills and leadership capabilities.
- Automotive Technician's License is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Flexibility in work schedule is essential.
