About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Tandoori Tadka. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils, including workstations, cupboards, storage areas, and appliances.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Table Setting and Clearing: Set tables and clear them after meals, ensuring that all dishes, glasses, and utensils are properly cleaned and put away.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned by management, including packaging take-out food and portioning and wrapping foods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen, and proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
