Kitchen Aide/Cook

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Aide/Cook at the Jeanne Scott Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and welcoming environment for young parents and their children.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for young parents and their children
- Unload and store donations and food orders, ensuring proper storage and handling
- Clean and maintain the kitchen, including fridges, freezers, and other equipment
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as required
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Experience in kitchen work or a related field
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Commitment to the mission values of Good Shepherd Centres, including availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality, and dignity
