About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Aide/Cook at the Jeanne Scott Centre. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of youth by providing a safe and welcoming environment for young parents and their children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve lunch and snacks for young parents and their children
  • Unload and store donations and food orders, including some lifting
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, including fridges, freezers, and other areas
  • Perform other kitchen/cook-related duties as required
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Experience in kitchen aide/cooking
  • Food Handlers Certificate
  • Valid C.P.R. certification or willingness to be certified
  • Commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality, and dignity
