About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Carbon Cabinets Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing transactions, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Transaction Processing: Process and reconcile financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and bank statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and accounting standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation is required.
  • Screening Questions: Must be legally able to work in Canada, have previous experience in accounting, and be currently studying or have completed a degree in accounting.
Work Environment
  • Workplace Information: Hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week.
