Your Role:

As the Senior Consultant in Global Regulatory Affairs, you will be pivotal in shaping our interactions with global regulatory bodies. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will assist in formulating and executing a proactive regulatory relations strategy, ensuring effective management of regulatory risks. Your responsibilities will also include providing comprehensive support to the Senior Director and the broader Global Regulatory Affairs team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Advisory: Collaborate with various business units to identify and assess the implications of regulatory changes. You will lead communications with regulators, including reviews and meetings.
  • Regulatory Initiatives: Oversee regulatory interactions within assigned portfolios, which may encompass areas such as Risk Management and Capital Markets. You will coordinate regulatory deliverables and support senior management in their engagements with regulators.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Stay informed on policy and legislative changes that could impact our business objectives. You will analyze these developments and assist in formulating responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Relationship Management: Engage with teams undergoing regulatory examinations, managing information requests and providing guidance as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a regulatory advisory capacity within the Financial Services sector, with a solid understanding of regulatory compliance and recent developments.
  • Education: An undergraduate or master’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Interpersonal Skills: You value relationships and have a diverse network of professional contacts. Your ability to build trust is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Your attention to detail and critical thinking abilities inform your decision-making processes.
  • Goal Orientation: You are driven by achieving objectives and making a significant impact.
