Thompson Rivers University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Professor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching theory and practice courses, as well as engaging in service to the university and community.
Key Responsibilities- Teach theory and practice courses to undergraduate and graduate students
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the educational needs of the healthcare system
- Engage in service to the university and community, including committee work and community outreach
- Contribute to the growth and development of the School of Nursing
- PhD or other doctorate in Nursing or a related field
- Master's degree with current practice and teaching experience may be considered
- Holds a minimum one (1) degree in nursing
- Five (5) years full time or equivalent hours nursing experience
- Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing
- Experience teaching theory and clinical practice
- An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system
- Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM prior to appointment
- A dynamic and supportive work environment
