About the RoleWe are looking for a qualified individual to teach theory and practice courses, as well as engage in service to the university and community. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a PhD or other doctorate, or a Master's degree with current practice and teaching experience.
Responsibilities- Teach theory and practice courses to undergraduate and graduate students
- Engage in service to the university and community, including curriculum development and community outreach
- Contribute to the development of nursing programs and services
- PhD or other doctorate in nursing, or a Master's degree with current practice and teaching experience
- Minimum one degree in nursing
- Five years full-time or equivalent hours of nursing experience
- Evidence of continuous learning in nursing
- Experience teaching theory and clinical practice
- Understanding of and experience in the Canadian healthcare system
- Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM prior to appointment
