Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist (CT) to join our team at Queensway Carleton Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiology and CT scan procedures with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and producing high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology and CT scan procedures on patients with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiology and CT scan procedures, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a comfortable and respectful experience for all patients.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Medical Radiation Technology with a specialty in Radiography (R).
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) as a MRT(R).
  • Excellent technical and patient care skills, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
