About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Planning Officer to join our team at SBLV Optometry. As an Administrative Planning Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our management team, including preparing reports, managing files, and coordinating meetings.
  • Procedure Development: Develop and implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their job requirements.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of our operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve administrative issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in MS Office.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
