We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Warehouse Operations team at Your Landscape Construction Centre Inc. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receiving and storing materials to loading and unloading products.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, industrial trucks, and tractors, to load, unload, and move materials and products.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
- Labouring Duties: Perform labouring duties in warehouses, including packing, unpacking, sorting, and stacking goods.
- Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment as required.
As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity. You will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Personal Suitability: Team player, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, initiative, accurate, and good judgement.
