About the Role

Lafarge in Calgary is seeking experienced Production Labourers to join our Precast division. As a Labourer, you will provide support in all areas of the plant, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality precast products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and transport materials, equipment, and finished products throughout the plant
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in maintaining a safe and productive work environment
  • Participate in daily Pre-Production Meetings to discuss tasks and objectives
  • Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production line setting, preferably in a precast plant
  • Safety-oriented and able to lift 55 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
