  • Maintaining government facilities and their surroundings according to department standards
  • Identifying maintenance and safety concerns and reporting them to management
  • Clearing snow and performing other related tasks

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience performing light and heavy cleaning duties using janitorial equipment
  • Experience performing minor maintenance in multi-use buildings

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability:

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Reliability, with a good work ethic
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team or individual environment
  • Ability to recognize and address safety issues

Conditions of Employment:

  • Obtain and maintain RCMP vulnerable sector check security clearance before hire
  • WHMIS Certificate (to be obtained within 3 months of hire)

Job Requirements:

  • Occasionally working outside in adverse weather conditions
  • Mandatory use of personal protective equipment
  • Evening shifts
