We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Services Worker to join our team at Hôtel & Spa Le Germain Charlevoix. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling
