Electrical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic Technician to join our team at 13262014 CANADA INC. As an Electrical Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Component Replacement: Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components as needed.
- Welding and Brazing: Perform welding and brazing tasks to repair or modify equipment.
- Coil Assembly: Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils for electrical equipment.
- Balance and Testing: Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors, and test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
- Wiring and Component Repair: Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear.
- Physical Accessibility: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators, to ensure equal access for all.
- Community Involvement: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
