Mortgage Officer Job Description

JinXi Financial is seeking a skilled Mortgage Officer to join our team. As a Mortgage Officer, you will be responsible for approving or rejecting loan applications, assisting clients with financial objectives, and completing credit and loan documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve or reject loan applications, or recommend applications for approval or rejection
  • Assist clients by proposing solutions to address financial objectives such as business expansion, debt management, investment, and other financial goals
  • Complete credit and loan documentation
  • Forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action
  • Interview applicants for loans
  • Open new personal and non-personal accounts, and provide access to automated banking machine, telephone banking, and online banking services
  • Prepare statements on delinquent accounts
  • Promote the sale of credit and loan services
  • Research and evaluate loan applicant's financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loan
  • Review and update credit and loan files
  • Submit credit and loan applications to management
  • Network to develop business relations, promote the sale of loan, investment, and other banking services, and attract corporate and individual customers
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Large caseload
  • Work under pressure
