Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join our team at Sephora. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining stockroom organization and merchandise updates, working in partnership with the Operations Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients during store business hours, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
    • Assist in training other team members on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems.
  2. Store Presentation
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
    • Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to maintain SEPHORA's merchandising concepts and standards.
    • Participate in initiatives to reduce shortage/loss and optimize store operations.
  3. Merchandising and Operations
    • Process shipments and inventory in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring seamless store operations.
    • Organize and maintain stockroom per company standards, ensuring efficient inventory management.
    • Process transfers, damages, and testers per company standards, minimizing errors and delays.
    • Communicate inventory issues and concerns to the Operations Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Store Manager, ensuring prompt resolution.
Requirements
  1. 1-2 years of experience in a retail or client service industry, preferably in a stockroom capacity.
  2. Excellent computer, arithmetic, and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  4. Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  5. A High School graduate or equivalent.
  6. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Physical Requirements
  1. Work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  2. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  3. Bend and stretch to stock shelves.
