Position Overview

As a Cabinet Finishing Specialist at First Art Kitchens, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and durability of our products. Your expertise in finishing techniques will ensure that each piece meets our high standards of quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
Work Environment

The work environment is primarily focused on furniture production, where you will be surrounded by a team of skilled professionals dedicated to craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct apprentices in finishing techniques
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to completed products
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Interpret plans, specifications, or drawings for the items to be produced
  • Trim joints and assemble parts and subassemblies to create a complete unit
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply finishes, including laminated plastics
