About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist to join our team at Scratch Studio Production Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate the work of camera operators and other technical staff to ensure seamless execution of film and television productions.
  • Set up, operate and make repairs to light and other electrical equipment to achieve the desired visual effects.
  • Design and co-ordinate special effects such as fire, explosion, and crashes to enhance the storytelling experience.
  • Apply cosmetic and special effects make-up to performers to create realistic and engaging characters.
  • Oversee the acquisition, fitting and maintenance of costumes and wardrobes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Schedule and oversee rehearsals to ensure timely completion of productions.
  • Assist in preparing the construction specifications for sets to ensure accurate and efficient execution.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate as a minimum educational requirement.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the film and television industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and requirements.
  • Reliability to ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Work Term: Permanent with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • Work Language: English as the primary language of communication.
