Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist to join our team at Scratch Studio Production Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating and applying makeup and hairstyles for performers, as well as coordinating special effects and overseeing the acquisition and maintenance of costumes and wardrobes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate the work of camera operators and other technical staff to ensure seamless execution of productions
  • Set up, operate and make repairs to lighting and other electrical equipment to achieve desired visual effects
  • Design and co-ordinate special effects such as fire, explosion and crashes to enhance the overall production
  • Apply cosmetic and special effects makeup to performers to achieve desired looks and effects
  • Oversee the acquisition, fitting and maintenance of costumes and wardrobes to ensure they meet production requirements
  • Schedule and oversee rehearsals to ensure smooth execution of productions
  • Assist in preparing construction specifications for sets to ensure they meet production requirements
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is varied, with opportunities to work on different productions and projects.
