Senior Policy Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Analyst to join our team at the Government of Nova Scotia. As a key member of our policy development team, you will play a critical role in providing expert policy advice to senior leaders and working committees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert policy advice to senior leaders and various working committees.
- Lead the development of effective and comprehensive Cabinet submissions, policies, and programs.
- Prepare briefing materials for standing committee appearances and the Legislature sitting.
- Contribute to corporate planning and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and a sound understanding of issues of equity in the policy development process.
You have a bachelor's degree and at least six (6) years related experience with policy, research, and analysis; or a related master's degree and four (4) years experience. Experience in a social services setting is an asset.
