Job Title: Front End Supervisor

Vicky Luck Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing customer interactions, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to sales staff to ensure efficient operation of the sales floor.
  • Authorize Payments: Process customer transactions, including cheque and credit/debit card payments, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales staff to ensure adequate coverage and minimize downtime.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise during the course of business.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the work of sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Sell Products: Engage with customers, promote products, and make sales to meet sales targets.
  • Process Transactions: Handle customer transactions, including processing payments and verifying customer information.
  • Verify Customer Age: Ensure compliance with age restrictions for the sale of lottery tickets, alcohol, and tobacco products.
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
